This coffee from the Kiangundo Factory in Nyeri combines bright and classic currant and floral notes with the rich and velvety mouthfeel Kenyan coffees are so highly praised and renowned for.
The 690 smallholder farmers delivering cherries to the factory receive regular training in good agricultural practices. The farmers handpick ripe cherries and deliver them to the factory the same day. At intake, the cherries are meticulously sorted. All sorting is overseen by the cherry clerk, who ensures that only ripe, undamaged cherry is received.  The emphasis on strict quality control results in an incredibly rich character like no other.
